Several companies will host a web site for you free. Many of the sites provide you with online software that make it easy for your create your own pages without having to be skilled
in HTML. Each of these companies allows you to select your own URL address, though it has to be tagged onto the company's address. To fund this free service, most free Web hosting companies will
require you to display advertisements on your web pages.

- Tripod is a free Web-hosting network run by the Lycos company. It offers users up to 11 megabytes of free Web space on their server, automatically insers a Tripod advertisement banner on each page you create, and invites you to insert additional advertisement banners which can be used to generate income.
- Personal HomePage Template Use the Personal HomePage template to create a quick and easy Web page about your personal interests.
- Geocities is a free Web-hosting network run by the Yahoo! company. It offers users up to 11 megabytes of free Web Space while inserting a GeoCities advertiesment banner on each page you create.
- Netscape Web Site Registration - Netscape, famous for its Web Browswer, now offers free Web hosting amont the numerous free Internet Services.
- Bizland is a business-only Web hosting service. It offers 35 megabytes of free server space, posts a small advertisement at the top of your page, offers a banner exchange program, and provides you with a subdomain URL, such as www.yourcompanyname.bizland.com.
- Homestead offers members up to 12 megabytes of free Web Space, automatically inserts ad banners, and and offers additional banners to earn income. You can choose your own extension, which gets added to Homestead's URL, such as: www.yourname.homestead.com
